Just a nice choice for a short-term stay in Hexham with very good value for money. Opening the bathroom door at night without making noise was a bit challenging, but it added a quirky charm to the experience. Bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise from the wind at night.

Access to private garden, impressive woodlands, engaging cat presence
The bathroom doors are a cacophony at night!!! Cold mornings can ruin any comfort. You must venture out to use the toilet and shower, not ideal for privacy. Some improvements to directions would help immensely!!!

We had a lovely time enjoying the delicious breakfast and chatting with our hostess about her fascinating travels. The garden was perfect for lounging and there was a charming area for relaxing indoors. The only small downside was the toilet and shower being outside the room, but it didn’t dampen our stay at all! 😊

Staying in a Double or Twin Room with View for two nights offered serene countryside views and the charm of friendly cats that shared the home. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring a delicious pan-roasted beef tenderloin, and the rooms were immaculately clean with comfy beds and beautiful linens. A morning "safari" exploring the well-kept grounds added a unique touch, though the location felt a bit remote, and access could be tricky at times.
